Joanne ODonnell
Biography
Joanne graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2013 with a qualifying law degree. She went on to work with specialist firms across the North West, gaining extensive experience in all areas of family law. Joanne qualified as a Solicitor in September 2022.
She joined Slater Heelis in early 2024 as a Solicitor in the Family Department, where she specialised in divorce, matrimonial finances, and child arrangements. After more than a decade working in Family Law, Joanne embraced a new opportunity in late 2025 to join the firm’s Wills, Trusts and Probate team. She now focuses on building her practice in all aspects of Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Joanne is known for her calm, thorough approach and her compassionate handling of sensitive matters. With her strong foundation in family law, she remains committed to delivering thoughtful and empathetic advice to every client.
