In 2023, the British HR Awards awarded our achievements and highly commended us for our Wellness & Wellbeing initiatives. In the same year, our successes around Equality, Diversity & Inclusion were recognised at the prestigious Manchester Legal Awards.
Slater Heelis offers both a Wellness & Wellbeing and an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion steering group and we offer 10 Mental Heath First Aiders who are fully trained by MHFA England.
Alongside our continual recruitment, we have formed partnerships with Co-Op Connell College & Stretford High School, offering work experience opportunities and delivering career workshops. In 2023 the firm launched ‘The Slater Heelis Academy’ and ‘The Rising Stars Apprenticeship Programme’.
Marking our 250-year anniversary in 2023 was a landmark achievement, and whilst it is a time for reflection, we are not standing still but focusing on the growth and success of Slater Heelis.
