Video Calls and Remote Meetings with Solicitors

March 19, 2020, By Slater Heelis

As many more of us may have to start working from home or self-isolating in the coming days or weeks, we are making provisions so that your legal needs can still be met.

If you cannot make it to us, or if our offices need to close at some point, we can still offer face to face meetings, conducted via video calls.

In an attempt to do our bit in reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19, we can offer to conduct meetings via Zoom or Teams, as well as phone calls and emails.

Contact Methods

We understand that many people who are seeking advice on sensitive and serious issues prefer to talk face to face with a solicitor. The personal touch, and seeing who you are speaking to, helps to build more trust and understanding between solicitors and clients.

We want to ensure that you can still get the Slater Heelis service with a smile that we know you appreciate, regardless of where you are.

Video Calls

We have a variety of ways in which we can set up video calls with solicitors for you.

Depending on the device you are using and the software it has, we hope to find a solution that fits us both.

When you fill in our contact form, please specify in the information box the type of contact you would like to organise.

We can use the following platforms to video call a solicitor on laptops, mobile, tablets or computers:

  • Skype
  • WhatsApp video
  • Facetime
  • Zoom Meetings
  • Google Hangouts

Within each team, we have various capabilities, so we are confident we can arrange something to suit your wishes.

Of course, if you would like to speak to us on the phone, via text or email, you can do.

For meetings that you would prefer to conduct at our offices, we will try to make arrangements, depending on the latest government advice.

Please do not hesitate to call us with any queries and then we can work together to arrange some kind of appointment that is suitable for us both.
