David was called to the Bar in 2005 and qualified as a solicitor in 2008, joining NJ Goodman & Co, a specialist insolvency firm in 2010 before they were acquired by Slater Heelis in 2023.
He has a wealth of experience in all areas of insolvency law acting in both corporate and personal insolvency matters for insolvency practitioners, individuals, directors, companies, shareholders, creditors, partners and sole traders, in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
David has acted successfully in pursuing and defending high-value litigated Insolvency and Companies Act claims for preferences, and transactions at an undervalue and misfeasance and is regularly instructed in such matters. David has significant experience in bringing and defending winding-up and bankruptcy petitions. He has delivered success in a range of transactional work for administrators and liquidators.
