Slater Heelis has announced a new partnership with Chester Zoo, marking a key milestone in our expansion into the region following the opening of our new office on St John Street.
As part of the launch of the partnership, we are proudly sponsoring the Christmas Tree displayed throughout the festive period at the zoo, where the sponsorship plaque was unveiled during a recent event at the zoo. The tree, positioned at the heart of the celebrations, represents the beginning of a meaningful collaboration between our firm and one of the UK’s leading conservation organisations.
The partnership forms a core part of our commitment to building authentic, long-term relationships within the Chester community, which echo the successful, values-led partnerships we have cultivated across Greater Manchester. By aligning with Chester Zoo, we aim to support organisations that share our focus on sustainability, education and positive local impact.
Mark Gough, Partner and Head of our Chester office, said:
“Expanding into Chester is an exciting step for the firm and it is important to us that we contribute to the communities we serve in a meaningful way.
“Chester Zoo is an organisation with a strong commitment to conservation, sustainability and family engagement which are all values that strongly resonate with our own. We are delighted to begin this partnership and look forward to working more closely with the zoo as we establish our presence in the city.”
Hannah Wright, Senior Strategic Partnerships & Development Manager at Chester Zoo, added:
“When organisations genuinely work together, our impact can go far beyond what we could achieve alone. As Slater Heelis settle into their new home in Chester, we’re excited to grow a partnership that not only supports our conservation work, but also creates opportunities for local families, businesses and the wider community to experience and connect with nature in new ways.”
The sponsorship reflects just one part of the broader programme of activity outlined in the partnership agreement between our firm and Chester Zoo, with further community-focused initiatives set to follow.
