Rachel Mason

Biography
Rachel is a solicitor in our Crime & Regulatory team.
She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a first class honours degree in Law with Criminology in 2018. Rachel then went on to receive a distinction in the LPC LLM at the University of Law in Manchester. On completion, she joined Slater Heelis in October 2020, working in the Family and Crime teams before moving to the Dispute Resolution and Commercial Property teams on her training contract. She returned to the Crime team and qualified in April 2023.
With experience across a range of criminal cases, Rachel provides legal advice for both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts cases. Rachel is instructed on a variety of matters at all stages of criminal proceedings, including offences against the person, sexual offences and animal welfare offences. She represents clients in the police station and Magistrates’ court and is frequently instructed at the pre-charge stage of an investigation.
Other areas of expertise include DBS barring and road traffic offences. Rachel is committed to providing excellent client care, ensuring that clients feel supported and advised throughout their case.
