Helen Frankland

Biography

Helen joined us in 2012 and works as an Associate Partner in the Human Resources/Employment team. Helen has specialised in employment law for over 19 years.

Helen graduated from the University of Durham and thereafter completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York, qualifying as a solicitor in 2005.

Helen has a vast amount of experience in advising employers and employees on employment law, workplace management, and all elements of the employment relationship. Helen is particularly proficient in advising corporate entities, stakeholders and employees on the employment law and TUPE implications of corporate transactions. Helen also has a keen interest in advising businesses and insolvency practitioners on the employment law consequences of insolvency situations in the workplace.

Helen also has a particular expertise in advising businesses on cross-border issues and advising businesses with foreign jurisdictions. Helen routinely advises businesses in the IT, manufacturing, science and technology and life sciences sector.
