Anthony Le

Biography

Anthony Le has broad legal experience having worked in Law since 2006. He previously worked in Regulatory Law and is an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with almost 15 years’ post-qualification experience. His career to date has seen him mentioned in the Legal 500, having worked in small boutique City law firms as well as large international firms.

Anthony has particular experience in contractual and misrepresentation claims, civil fraud, injunctions, construction, repossession, insurance coverage disputes, adverse possession, breach of restrictive covenant claims, insolvency and mediation. As well as the high-level tactical considerations, Anthony is often focused on the technical aspects of a case, and always seeks to draw important strands together.

Anthony acted for US pension funds and hedge fund managers in what was described by The Law Gazette as one of biggest civil litigation claims before the English courts. This related to an alleged dividend tax reclaim fraud brought by a European governmental agency with a claim value of £1.5 billion and involved multiple defendants and jurisdictions.

He also acted for HNW individuals in a successful Worldwide Freezing Order in one of the first cases involving cryptocurrency in England and Wales.
