We’re delighted to announce that we have made The Times Top 250 Law Firms for the fourth consecutive year! This time, with special recognition for our family services.
We’re so proud of this accolade, which has been independently compiled since 2019, and sees the best lawyers and legal practices for business, public and private-client law showcased and honoured.
In compiling the Top 250 list, research company Statista interviewed over 4500 lawyers, so recognition is by peers who nominate who they feel are the crème de la crème in the sector.
To feature in the list with a commendation for the family law team for the fourth consecutive year is a testament to their incredible experience and results, which headed up Mark Heptinstall, has gone from strength to strength in recent years. Here’s just a small insight into what they’ve achieved in 2024 alone…
- Mark and family solicitor, David Wilkinson, co-authored a chapter in the International Comparative Legal Guide – Family Law 2025 – for England and Wales, covering key topics like divorce, finance, child custody, and international family law issues.
- Alexandra Goldrein, associate partner, has been shortlisted for a prestigious Citywealth Future Leaders 2024 Award being recognised in the Family Lawyer of the Year category.
- The team obtained a rare Hadkinson order – an unusual but necessary order that prevents a party who is in continued contempt of court from being heard, by imposing conditions that must be met first.
- They were recognised in six of Doyles’ highly-regarded Manchester Family Law Rankings. The whole family team achieved group success with the division being identified as a leading family and divorce firm in the region. While individual recognition was also enjoyed for several of our employees.
- Amy Price one of our family law associates, was crowned Rising Star of the Year at the prestigious Manchester Resolution Awards.
- The team are regularly called upon by national media to provide comment on topical news stories
