We have been recommended across four practice areas, with seven practitioners individually recognised, in the newly published Chambers UK 2026 rankings demonstrating the firm’s continued commitment to excellence and client service.
The firm has secured Band 2 rankings in Corporate/M&A: SME/Owner-managed Businesses; as well as being ranked band 2 for Crime and also for Family/Matrimonial. Real Estate: up to £10 million has ranked band 4; whilst seven individuals across the business have been recognised for their expertise and dedication which is up from five the previous year.
Partner in the Corporate team, Simon Wallwork, has maintained his individual Band 1 ranking for the fourth consecutive year; a testament to his outstanding client service and over 35 years’ experience at the highest level in corporate law.
The firm’s Crime and Family teams have both retained their Band 2 positions, reflecting the continued strength and consistency of these departments. In the Real Estate practice area, the team has secured a Band 4 ranking, demonstrating the firm’s breadth of expertise and excellent client service.
Individual recognition goes to seven members of the firm, including Ken Salmon, who continues his long-standing recognition as a Senior Statesperson in the Construction team, a position he has held since 2016. Rachel Fletcher (Crime) and Mark Heptinstall (Family) are both ranked in Band 2, whilst Kim Aucott (Family) is ranked in Band 4 and Charlotte Beck (Family) in Band 3. Alex Barley, a Partner in the Personal Injury team who joined in 2021, was also recognised as Up and Coming, highlighting the strength of the emerging talent pipeline at Slater Heelis.
