Committed to Quality
Our Quality Policy
At Slater Heelis we are committed to quality and we aim to ensure long-term client satisfaction. We aim to continually improve the service which we provide to meet our clients’ requirements and to deliver excellent client service.
We aim to remain approachable and friendly, whilst maintaining a professional and flexible approach to meet the needs of every single client, whatever their background, age, race, or gender. We actively support the LGBT foundation. We try and refrain from legal jargon in order to provide clear, straightforward advice.
Our commitment to quality is based on the principle that the effective and consistent implementation and review of operational systems, which reflect client, staff and business requirements, will result in the continuous improvement of the services we deliver to our clients.
This will be achieved by a continuous process of quality management and improvement, which includes a commitment to:
- develop, monitor and improve the effectiveness of and compliance with the quality management system
- compliance with statutory and regulatory standards and requirements
- continual enhancement of client satisfaction through listening to and responding to client feedback
- continual development of staff training and competency to enable client needs to be met
- promote an ethos of continuous improvement by engaging all our staff in planning and performance review processes
Slater Heelis has been a proud holder of the Lexcel Legal Practice Quality Mark for many years. We are assessed every year to ensure that we continue to meet standards of excellence.
In addition, we hold the following accreditations, Conveyancing Quality Scheme, Living Wage Employee Scheme and Resolution. We fully invested in our systems to ensure that our clients’ information and data is protected and hold a Cyber Essentials Certified accreditation. We are recognised by Legal 500 for 2025.
We have a number of projects that support the firm’s commitment to sustainability, including a paper saving initiative and with many departments now ‘paperlite’. At Slater Heelis we are passionate about our environment and understand that many of our clients are equally concerned and share our ethos.
We do not undertake work which is outside our areas of competency. We have good affiliations with other local Solicitors and can refer on the occasions where we are unable to undertake such work.
