Job Vacancy – Plot Sales Administrator

A vacancy has arisen within our plot sales team that is based out of the Manchester office. The team act for several well-known residential property developers and deal exclusively with the sale of newly built or newly converted residential dwellings.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a strong work ethic, who takes real pride in their work and who is comfortable working in a very fast paced environment.

The role has a specific focus on financial analysis and previous accounting experience is highly desirable.             

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Opening/ closing files and assisting with document production
  • Providing clients with regular transactional updates by telephone and email
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with clients
  • Drafting legal documents letters and emails
  • Preparation of invoices
  • Attending to daily tasks set within the team
  • Diary management
  • Ledger management
  • Spreadsheet management, including:
  • Responsible for the upkeep of firm and client spreadsheets
  • Taking ownership of ensuring financial and non-financial data is accurately transferred into the firm’s database
  • Accurate reconciliation of excel spreadsheets and ability to identify data discrepancies
  • Analysing and reporting on financial information contained within spreadsheets for clients and stakeholders

  • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel and good all-round IT skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels

  • Previous experience within a similar role within the last 12 months with a reputable law firm
  • Familiar with the property transaction process


  • £20 000 plus discretionary bonus
