Asked to cover colleague’s holidays: ask the expert

I work on a part-time basis 22.5 hr week on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays and have done for over three years. In my contract it states “if you work on a part-time basis you will be required to cover for periods, of holiday, sickness and absence……”  I work for a massive well known company in a lone working environment as does my colleague who works the Mondays and Tuesdays. Read more…
